Our Instructors:
Mastery Martial Arts Krav Maga has been bringing the Rio Grande Valley the finest martial arts instruction since 1983. We take pride in knowing that we are the pioneers of Israeli Krav Maga here in the RGV area. With experience in Krav Maga for going into a decade now.
Our instructors go through a serious training program in Krav Maga, Kickboxing and Kung-Fu. Before an instructor is allowed to lead a class they must have no less than 300 hours of leadership training under their belt. This ensures the classes are led by the best instructors in the area.
Master Pablo J. Zamora
The Mastery Martial Arts Krav Maga organization is led by Master Zamora. With over 36 years of training in the martial arts, and close to 10 years in the Israeli Systems of Combat. Master Zamora trained in the LA Krav Maga World Wide headquarter facility. Master Zamora believes that Krav Maga is one of the best systems in reality self-defense available today.
Not allowing the MMA craze to enter into his facilities... Master Zamora states, "Krav Maga is reality combat and self-defense, not a sport. MMA is a fun sport to watch, but not the best training for anyone looking for street self-defense." Master Zamora has Krav Maga for kids also available in his schools. He feels that kids need to know these great tools of survival. Not anymore can kids get away with Karate as a sport. Kids need real skills for troublesome times... Krav Maga is that skill!
Sr. Chief Instructor: Lucia Padilla
Ms. Padilla has over 10 years under the tutelage of Master Zamora. She is classified as a Black Belt 4th degree under Master Zamora's Mastery Martial Arts Krav Maga System. She is by far the most skilled Krav Maga female in the RVG area, possibly the entire state of Texas. She is highly skilled in traditional Kung-Fu as well as kickboxing and Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do.
She has devoted her life to the pursuit of excellence within the martial arts.
Chief Instructor: Federico Padilla
Mr. Padilla also has over 10 years under Master Zamora. He holds the same rank as his mother, Ms. Padilla. Mr. Padilla, like his mother has a strong following in his school. He has put a lot of time and practice into the Krav Maga and fighting aspects of the martial arts. For being in his early twenties he is one of the best instructors in the state. Like his mother, he has made the martial arts his life.
Instructor: Robert Bustos
Mr. Bustos started training under Master Zamora as a child. He is the product of martial arts. He is training for his 5th degree Black Belt in Mastery Martial Arts Krav Maga and is a full-time instructor who has also devoted himself to the growth and success of Mastery Martial Arts Krav Maga.

Master Zamora knows that a great martial arts organization begins with great Black Belt instructors. His time and focus goes to the development of his teaching staff as well as the future instructors in his Leadership Team.
